Apple unveiled its brand new phones, the iPhone 17 series. That's three refreshed versions of existing models as well as the all-new iPhone 17 Air, which replaces the Plus. If waiting in line on release day isn’t really your style, and you still need to secure one as soon as possible, you'll be able to pre-order the iPhone 17, 17 Pro, 17 Pro Max or iPhone Air from 10pm AEST on September 12, before the September 19 release date.
The iPhone 17 features a redesigned look with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and slimmer bezels. And after much anticipation (and a ton of grumbling), the base iPhone 17 finally has a a 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the new A19 chip is faster and more efficient, especially when teamed up with Apple Intelligence. If you are upgrading from an older iPhone, you will see a massive increase in speed and smoother gaming thanks to ProMotion.
Camera wise, you'll find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) and a 2x telephoto lens. The ultra-wide camera also receives an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography crisper and much more refined.

iPhone 17 Colours
The iPhone 17 will come in six colourways: black, white, steel gray, light blue, green and purple.The iPhone 17 Air is set to come in four shades: black, white, light gold and sky blue.
The Pro and Pro Max models will be offered in three premium finishes: blue, orange and silver.
